I've never heard of the Oobi Band, but this is from Wikipedia:

The Oobi Band is an English-based rock band. The Oobi Band has had one of the longest and most prolific careers in Rock/Pop music. Their blues-influenced sound came mostly from the guitar solos and soulful vocals of guitar virtuoso Oobi, while their witty, catchy lyrics and chord progressions came from the songwriting mind of drum/saxophone maestro Grampu. The low-tone rhythm guitar of Uma and complex but musically fitting bass lines of bass innovator Kako and Jazzy organ lines and solos of Inka were also a huge part of the band’s sound. Many rock guitarists have cited Oobi as a major influence such as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes, and Ritchie Blackmore, while many more Drummers and Bassists have revered Grampu and Kako.
